USG’s Certified Lean Practitioners

Congratulations to US Gypsum’s Ben Prindle and Dave Balbiran on completing their Lean practitioner certification on June 28th! The duo collaborated on a value stream mapping/ A3 project focused on improving safety, communication, transparency, and accountability between management, operators, and reliability crews that work within the site’s mill.

Ben and Dave applied Lean methods including waste elimination, standard work documentation, workplace organization, and a robust visual management system to improve the aforementioned areas.
