Lean Practitioner Certification Training Beginning March 4!
The Jacksonville Lean Consortium is excited to announce the third edition of our Lean practitioner certification series, now starting March 4!
We are offering this program through our partner, First Coast Manufacturers Association’s (“FCMA”) Leadership Academy.
Program Objectives
By participating in this Lean practitioner certification program, participants will learn how to implement the production system that first revolutionized the manufacturing industry, before becoming the go-to improvement strategy for organizations across all sectors around the world.
This Lean practitioner certification is geared toward manufacturing production and support employees.
Our Lean practitioner certification training features a learn-by-doing approach that includes:
27 hours of live classroom instruction
Applicable case studies and hands-on learning exercises
6 hours of one-on-one coaching sessions and multiple site visits
Tailored homework assignments
Access to all course materials and LeanJax’s standard work library
Lean practitioner certification examination
Certified Lean Practitioners
Are passionate for continuous improvement and possess a healthy dissatisfaction for how work is currently done.
Demonstrate a clear understanding of Lean principles, culture, concepts, methods, and tools.
Tactically solve problems and implement Lean improvements within a work cell, work group, and/or value stream.
Complete the six (6) training modules, corresponding homework assignments, and value stream mapping project report-out.
Score 80% or higher on open-book Lean Practitioner Certification Examination.

The cost for FCMA Member organizations is $2,250 per participant.
For Non-FCMA Members
This certification is also open to individuals from companies that do not belong to FCMA.
The cost is $2,950 per participant.
