Lean Jax Providing Lean Practitioner Certification through FCMA

Lean Jax is excited to announce our new Lean/continuous Improvement practitioner certification program, developed in collaboration with our good friends at FCMA!

James and Jerry Bussell will deliver six interactive virtual training modules and conduct extensive one-on-one coaching with every program participant each week, guiding them through assignments aimed at producing impactful improvements to their organizations. LeanJax will provide Lean practititioner certification to participants who successfully complete the program.

Announcing a New FCMA Training Program   Continuous Improvement—The New Normal

 

Today, more than ever, companies are facing extreme circumstances and challenges that are requiringsignificant, and sometimes radical, changes in how you do business. Problem solving is critical to every position in businesses, and today’s unprecedented problems require workers with exceptional problem-solving skills.  The “new normal” is no longer normal, and successful companies will be the ones who can quickly engage their employees to effectively solve problems and implement new process improvements to achieve impactful results to its’ operations.

 

FCMA is excited to announce a new training program, developed in collaboration with the Jacksonville Lean Consortium (“Lean Jax”).  The program is designed to provide tools, methodologies, and systems for changing and improving the way your employees do work.  The target audience for this training is broad, from upper level leadership and decision makers down to subject matter experts and individuals who are responsible for introducing change and implementing process improvements in your operation.

 

The program will focus on basic continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles, tools and methodologies using six interactive modules.  These modules will build upon one another and follow the “learn-by-doing-methodology.” After completing each module, participants will have a job-specific homework assignment using the tools, methods, and systems presented during each class.  The instructors will conduct a one-on-one review of the homework assignment progress with participants after each module.

Because of ongoing COVID-19 concerns, this program will be conducted virtually using Zoom Meeting. All classes will run from 8:00 AM – Noon.  Tuition cost is $1,950 per student for FCMA members and $2,600 for non-members.   Each training module will include 4 hours of interactive content, course materials, lean standard work templates, recording of class presentation, one-on-one coaching/feedback,and participants will receive a Lean Practitioner certification from LeanJax.  FCMA will coordinate all class registrations and member invoicing.

• 8 Wastes and Bright Ideas Suggestion System—November 12

• 6S Workplace Organization—December 3

• Visual Management Systems and Error Proofing—December 17

• A3 Problem Solving—January 6

• Value Stream Mapping—January 20
